Created by Hangover Hill in 2022 as a way to bring some positivity back into the local music scene post pandemic. We wanted to design an event that celebrated everybody who works within the original music sector in Dorset. Not just musicians but also venues, promoters, backstage crews and more.
It remains a tough industry to be in with more grassroots venues closing by the day so the more we work together the more we can achieve. Dorset has a very rich and diverse original music scene compared to many other places and we want to see that continue into the future.
By creating this red carpet event we hope to give people a special night out with all the glitz and glamour that comes with a music awards ceremony.
