‘We went to Poole Lighthouse to watch Hangover Hill’s ‘Live & Unheard’ event in October 2025. We were catching up with Mel when the topic of ‘Live & Unheard’ was brought up. Kolumbia were invited to play in March 2026 which was amazing news and a huge step forward for the band. The whole experience was epic! Working with Mel and the sound/lighting engineers was great and we played a full set of original music to a packed crowd. We will never forget it. Mel has always rooted for us and we are incredibly thankful.'

Matt was very helpful with some other projects I had lined up which he ended up engineering, co-producing, playing on and sourcing other artists for. That is precisely how our working relationship has developed over many years to the point he is very much now more an essential working partner than a hired hand. As a writer I have a good idea how my songs should end up but Matt has a feel for a song that adds something else, which over the years I have embraced and get excited about.
